Getting the seat mounting & position sorted out. Got the shifter mount box and pedal mount box today, so getting them and the steering brakes mocked up and positioned in the right spots. We are really excited about how things are coming together.

Project RIZZAIL Update 5/24/11
Just a reminder of what RIZZAIL looked like when it showed up. We have made quite a bit of progress.
Seats and covers showed up yesterday, so will be getting them mounted
very soon. We decided to go with Black and Red, with the frame gloss black and the accessories in red. Getting excited for re-assembly now.

Project MOTOR-BIKE Repost as we restructure the website

5/16/11. This is our latest Project, It is an engine kit for a bicycle that our Web-master, Michael, ordered off line. This is a 68cc kit, and as you can see, it is very complete.
We started with a older aluminum frame specialized bike (27" large frame). Setting up to mount, and mounting the engine was a breeze. Mounting and setting up the driven sprocket on the rear was a real B#%@*, and took both our sets of hands, but we got it.
This was a really fun project and not too intensive. We did some minor mods, but will have to wait to finish break in before we do anything performance-wise.

Michael has added an electronic speedo and trip meter, and reports that top speed is currently 32 MPH ! and if you position your leg correctly, to force air into the intake can achieve 37 MPH !
Michael loves the MotorBike, as it has become known around here, and has been riding it all over, He has good riding/safety gear, Helmet, Riding jacket, Eye protection, and Gloves, and has been having a BLAST !

Project RIZZAIL Update 5/21/11
The blue is all gone.... finally, Got the rest of the rear section sandblasted, and they had painted over the factory undercoat in alot of places. Took more time than expected because I had to chip away a bunch with a scraper.
The whole upper cage is now in primer.
Welded the crack in the frame, was able to get it closed up first using a multitude of ratchet straps.
Than added a 1/16" reinforcement plate that has a stamped spine in it for support in the future. Will be doing the other side the same way, to avoid failure on that side also.

Project RIZZAIL Update 5/19/11
In preperation for sandblasting the "engine bay", We decided to pull the engine and transaxel assembly. It is a good thing we did, as we discovered this menacing little crack on the engine stub mount, It was under the engine where you couldnt see it.

Project RIZZAIL Update 5/16/11

Time to tackle the underneath... Hoisted the sand rail nose to the rafters and built a "tent" for sandblasting. It looks kinda funny but actually worked very well. You can see several pictures of before during and after, Also when sand blasting it is Essential to have the proper protection.
After sandblasting, I cleaned all the bare metal and than shot it with spray on truck bedliner in gloss black. The difference is amazing and I am starting to get excited for reconstruction.

Project RIZZAIL Update 5/15/11
Some updated pictures of the sand rail project, the "floor boards" are stripped, we will be coating them with bedliner top and bottom. (gloss black).
Starting to strip the rear section, The Blue appears to be exterior house paint? and is very thick, I look like a smurf after sanding for a few minutes ! We are using a self etching sealer primer to avoid the under primer rust problem it has had in the past.

Garage Update ...
Welded the cracks in the header & repainted it with high temp satin black. Looks pretty sharp. Also have the cage and floor stripped and primed to the back of the "cab" area.
